Windsock Placement

  • improper placement could lead to an unsafe personnel evacuation plan 
  • windsock service life is within the parameter of one to three years
  • windsock life is influenced by extreme weather conditions –  pollution – salt water

  • High performance, superb abrasion & tear resistance, stain & water repellent
  • Nylon H/D Airtex 1000D 360GSM with PU coating (airports)
  • Samba, coated, heat set, fire retardant 195GSM fabric for full colour digital printing
  • Wide colour choice including Brilliant White, Neon Yellow, Neon Orange, Red & others
  • Striped vertical bands or horizontal stripes with any colour combination including Red & White, Orange & White, Black & White and virtually any combination of your choice

Custom Printing Letters & Logos

  • Custom printing of your company logo, name, message or other script
  • Printing applied to both sides of the your windsock
  • Digitally printed logos, pictures, designs on high resolution Trilobal fabric
  • With some materials, logos pictures and designs are sewn on where warranted
  • Printing is as Bold as possible to make it very visible
  • The printing is guaranteed not to crack, peel or deteriorate
  • To enable the best result please email a high resolution name, logo or advertising message
  • Also advise the windsock colour you would require and the preferred printing colour

Windsock How to Measure: Metric

DIAMETER IMAGE

  1. Length: Measure the complete length (metres)
  2. Diameter (1): Measure straight across the widest part of the windsock Frame Ring (where possible) and this will be the Diameter (cm’s) 
  3. Diameter (2): Where the windsock is not connected to an existing Frame Ring then measure around the complete circumference of the Throat or Mouth (big end) of the windsock (cm’s) then divide by 3.14 
  4. Diameter (3): Where the windsock is not connected to an existing Frame Ring  or it’s too hard to access then lay the windsock out flat and measure from one side to the other; record the distance (cm’s) x 2 then divide by 3.14
