Duration

The Challenge

A Tier 1 Global EPC Contractor engaged Windsocks Australia to supply wind direction indicators across a major LNG facility expansion on Australia's Pilbara coast. The site required Windsock systems compliant with Wind Region D conditions and strict antistatic regulations for active hydrocarbon zones. Installed units were failing — re-specification to the heavy-duty antistatic range was required.

"Recently we installed the orange windsock pictured below which seems to just flop around and not working very well. We need Windsocks that actually work in high winds."

— Field Purchasing & Expediting Specialist, Tier 1 Global EPC Contractor
