We Don't Guess.
We Test.
Constantly refining our products, benchmarking against competitors, and listening to the people who use them in the harshest conditions on earth.
Talk to Our TeamConstantly Refining.
Always Listening.
We don't build a product and forget about it. Every order, every installation and every customer conversation feeds back into how we design and manufacture our Windsocks, Poles and Frames.
When a customer tells us a fitting is hard to reach, we change it. When we see a competing product outperform ours in one area, we close the gap. That's how we've gone from a small Perth workshop to the Asia-Pacific's most trusted Windsock manufacturer.
Our goal is simple: to be the best in class - and to stay there.
Three Pillars of Our R&D Process
Real-World Field Testing
Lab tests only go so far. Our products are tested on remote airstrips, offshore platforms and mine sites - in the conditions that actually matter. Australian sun, salt air and cyclonic winds don't forgive shortcuts.
Customer-Driven Design
We talk to the people who actually install and maintain our products - CMMS officers, site safety managers, procurement teams. Their feedback directly shapes what we build next.
Competitor Benchmarking
We regularly acquire and test competitor products side-by-side with ours - UV resistance, seam strength, hardware durability. If someone is doing something better, we learn from it.
Why We Introduced the Sunbrella Range
A few years ago, we responded to a challenge from a major Oil & Gas Giant to manufacture extremely Heavy Duty Windsocks for a coastal setting. Standard polyester simply wasn't cutting it.
So we introduced Marine Grade Sunbrella acrylic fabric - a solution-dyed material that has been trusted by the marine and outdoor industry for decades. It doesn't just resist UV; it's designed to hold colour and strength after years of continuous sun, salt and chemical exposure.

✓
Extreme UV resistance - holds colour in the toughest UV conditions
-
✓
Mould and mildew resistant - essential in tropical and coastal environments

✓
Longer service life - reduces replacement frequency and site downtime
Real Stainless Steel.
No Short Cuts.
Our Frames aren't stamped from thin sheet and powder-coated to look good in a catalogue. They're machined from solid Stainless Steel with milled spindles, precision-fitted rings and hardware selected for decades of outdoor service - not just the first inspection.
Every component - from the rotor arm pivot to the counterweighted pole base - is specified to handle the forces and environmental conditions of Australian industrial sites. That means hot-dip galvanising where it matters, marine-grade fasteners where salt is a factor, and proper engineering sign-off on structural elements.
We're not the cheapest. We're the ones still standing when the cheap option has been replaced multiple times.
We Don't Want Our Products to Fail on Your Site
A failed Windsock on a remote mine site or an offshore helideck isn't just inconvenient - it's a safety issue and an expensive logistics problem. Getting a replacement to site can cost more than the original product, and the downtime compounds.
That's why durability isn't a marketing claim for us - it drives every material selection, every hardware spec and every quality check before a product leaves our workshop.
If it can be improved, we improve it. If a customer reports a problem, we fix it. That's not a policy - it's just how we work.
